I opened Bright Choice NJ in 2014 with the support and encouragement of friends and neighbors in Maplewood and South Orange. I began with Algebra tutoring and quickly added students from further towns and various academic subjects. I’ve had the pleasure to work with students through Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth, All Stars Project, and most importantly, word of mouth referrals.

While my favorite subject is Math, I was initially trained in all subjects for SAT prep through a well-known tutoring enterprise. I have since added to my repertoire through graduate coursework in Masters of Education, a wonderful career in non-profit fundraising and accounting, and the greatest honor of being a mother to 2 energetic, bright, and kind children.

My philosophy includes treating each child as an individual with his/her own unique talents, interests, and challenges. I collaborate with the family to best support the student to progress and succeed in his/her goals.
